What Reactivating Agents Ask Before Enrolling

Who needs the 28-hour reactivation course?
Florida real estate sales associates whose license has been involuntarily inactive for more than 12 months but less than 24 months. If your license has been inactive 24 months or more, you'll need to retake the full 63-Hour Pre-License course and the state exam — the 28-hour reactivation no longer qualifies.
How fast can I be back to active?
As fast as 2–3 days if you're motivated. The course is self-paced — finish over a weekend, pass the final, and we file your certificate with DBPR within 48 hours. From there, find a sponsoring broker, submit DBPR paperwork, and you're back to selling.
What's the difference between voluntarily and involuntarily inactive?
Voluntarily inactive: you maintain your license by completing 14-hour CE every 2 years. You can reactivate by completing CE and notifying DBPR.

Involuntarily inactive: your license lapsed because you didn't complete CE on time or your broker affiliation ended without re-association. To return to active status, you need this 28-hour course (if within 12–24 months) or to retake the entire pre-license course (if 24+ months).
Is there a final exam?
Yes — Florida requires an end-of-course exam with a passing score of 80%. The exam runs in our online portal. Don't pass on your first try? Re-enroll free with us — no second payment.
How fast does my certificate get filed with DBPR?
Within 48 hours of completion. We file electronically with DBPR, so your reactivation credit posts to your license record fast. You'll get a copy of the certificate for your own records too.
Do I need a sponsoring broker to reactivate?
Yes. Even after completing this course, your license stays inactive until you submit DBPR reactivation paperwork that includes a sponsoring broker. We can introduce you to South Florida partner brokers actively hiring — book a free 15-min call if you need help finding one.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days if you haven't completed more than 30% of the course. Beyond that window, we don't refund — but your enrollment doesn't expire. Come back when you're ready.
