01Who can take part
Student referral program: anyone who has enrolled in a South Florida Career Center course, live or online, at any time. One code per person.
Affiliate program: Florida-licensed real estate sales associates, broker associates and brokers, approved by us after we check the license with DBPR. Applicants without a Florida real estate license are kept on a list and told first if the program widens. We may decline or remove any applicant.
02What your friend or follower gets
- Referral codes (student program): 15% off any online course or the 120-hour home inspection course.
- Affiliate codes (affiliate program): 10% off the same courses.
- The discount is applied at checkout and never changes afterwards. Checkout accepts one code per order; codes cannot be combined with any other code or offer.
- Codes are for people who are new to SFCC. Live and Zoom classes are not in either program for now.
03What you earn
Student referral program: the program is tracked from the day it opens. Any reward for referring students is announced to participants by email before it applies, and never applies to a referral made before the announcement date unless the announcement says so.
Student referral program: $40 in course credit for each confirmed referral (section 4). Credits are issued once a month as a code for your own next checkout; they stack with no cap, are good for 24 months from issue on any SFCC course, and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or applied to an order already placed.
Affiliate program: 15% of the amount the student actually paid for each confirmed enrollment, after their code and before payment-processing fees, on every online course and the 120-hour home inspection course. From your eleventh confirmed enrollment onward, counted from the day you join in any mix of courses, the rate is 20% for as long as you take part, with no cap. Rates for individual affiliates may be set differently in writing.
A referral or enrollment is confirmed when the student has paid in full, seven days have passed since the purchase (our refund window) without a refund, the student is new to SFCC, and the order is not yours (section 6).
04How we track a sale
- Your code, entered at checkout, is how an order is credited to you. Checkout records the code on the order.
- We do not track links or set tracking cookies for these programs. An order placed without your code is not credited to you, however the student found us.
- Checkout accepts one code per order, so an order is credited to the person whose code is on it.
- Orders placed by phone, by invoice, or in person are credited only if the student names your code at the time of purchase.
- Our records decide what was tracked. We will show you yours on request.
05What you may say
Florida holds a real estate school responsible for statements made about its courses (F.S. 475.4511), including statements made by people it pays. So you may say only what we publish: course names, prices and descriptions as they appear on southfloridacareercenter.com, that live classes are taught in English with Spanish on request, that every course is offered online in English or Spanish, that the 63-hour and 72-hour courses carry no re-enrollment fees, that we are a Florida school licensed since 2014, and that you earn a commission or reward.
You may not state or imply a pass guarantee or pass rate, job placement, hiring or income, a timeline to a license, that we are the cheapest, that live classes are bilingual, that a course is “DBPR-approved” unless our own page says so, or any discount we have not published. Ask us before posting if you are unsure; we answer the same day.
06What you may not do
- Use your own code on an order for yourself, a household member, or anyone sharing your name, email or phone number.
- Post codes on coupon or deal sites, or share them with anyone who runs one.
- Buy ads on “South Florida Career Center”, “SFCC”, our web address, or phrases such as “SFCC coupon” or “SFCC discount”; run ads that present you as the school; or bid on our name anywhere.
- Send unsolicited texts, calls or emails. Florida and federal law restrict them, and a complaint about you is a complaint about us.
- Offer any part of your reward or commission to the person enrolling, or to anyone else, as a kickback.
- Tie anything in these programs to a real estate transaction, listing, lead or recruitment. Commissions and credits are for course enrollments only.
- If you lead or manage a brokerage or team, require or pressure anyone who reports to you to use your code.
We may deny any commission or credit we believe breaks these terms, and we may end your participation. Where fraud is involved we may recover what was paid.
07Payment
Affiliates are paid monthly, by the 15th, for enrollments confirmed in the previous calendar month, once the balance reaches $50, by PayPal or Zelle to the account on file. We collect a Form W-9 before the first payment and issue a Form 1099-NEC for a year in which we pay you $600 or more. Taxes on what you earn are yours.
Student credits are issued monthly as described in section 3 and are not paid in cash.
08Refunds
Our online courses can be refunded within seven days of enrollment if less than 30% of the course is complete (refund policy). A refunded, disputed or charged-back order is not confirmed and earns nothing. If a payment to you has already been made on an order later reversed, we deduct it from your next payment or ask for it back.
09Disclosure
Anyone paid to recommend a product must say so (FTC Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255). Every post, story, video, message or conversation in which you share your code or a link to us must make clear that you earn a commission or a reward. A clear “I earn a commission” or “#ad” near the code is enough. We also state on our site that these programs pay rewards and commissions.
10Our relationship
You take part as an independent person, not as an employee, agent or representative of South Florida Career Center, Inc. You may not sign anything, promise anything or collect any money on our behalf. Nothing here is exclusive: you may recommend any other school, and we may work with anyone else. You are responsible for your own content, accounts and taxes. South Florida Career Center, Inc. is the school of record for every course and the only party that sells, delivers and certifies them.
11Changes and ending
We may change rates, eligible courses or these terms with 30 days’ notice by email to the address on your account; a change never reduces what you earned before it takes effect. Either of us can end your participation at any time by email. Confirmed commissions earned before the end are paid on the normal schedule unless section 6 applies. Codes stop working when participation ends.
