Who is required to take this course?

If you are a newly licensed Florida Sales Associate, you must complete this 45-hour post-license course before your first license renewal (within 18–24 months of receiving your license).

What happens if I don’t complete it before my license expires?

Your license will become null and void if you do not complete the course in time. You'll have to start the licensing process from scratch.

What topics are covered in the post-license course?

The course includes:

Can I take this course online?

Yes — we offer both a self-paced online course and in-person classes in Miami. Both meet the 45-hour state requirement.

Is there an exam?

Yes. The course includes a final exam. You must score at least 75% to pass. Retakes are available if needed.

When do I get my certificate?

Immediately after completing the final exam. We also report your completion to the DBPR.

Can I use this course as continuing education?

No. This course is for post-license only. After this, you will begin taking 14-hour Continuing Education every two years.
