Who needs to take the Broker Post-License course?

All first-time licensed Florida Brokers must complete 60 hours of post-license education before their first license renewal period ends.

What does the Broker Post-License course include?

It consists of two 30-hour modules:

  1. Real Estate Investment
  2. Office Management & Brokerage Operations

These are designed to help you operate, manage, or expand a real estate business effectively.

Can I take the course online?

Yes. The full 60-hour program is available as a self-paced online course or as an in-person class in Miami with scheduled sessions.

What happens if I don’t complete the course on time?

Your broker license will become null and void if the course is not completed before your first renewal deadline. You’d have to start over as a Sales Associate.

Is there a final exam?

Yes — each module has a required exam. A score of at least 75% is typically needed to pass each.

Is this course reported to the DBPR?

Yes. Upon successful completion, we report your hours directly to the Florida DBPR and issue your certificate.
